So, here’s the tea… #Storytime of the reason behind this section, because — unlike life — it’s got an explanation.

IMAGINARY PUBLIC (V.O.): Louder & without crying for the people in the back!

I have moved so far seven times throughout nine years of adulthood:

3 countries, 5 cities, 3 houses, 4 apartments, 4 jobs, 7 roles, 5 volunteering opportunities, 3 psychiatrists, 5 therapists, and 5 (?) grief stages for each loss after… Did anybody say stability?

I guess that’s what I get for being a Sagittarius. The Virgoest of all Sagis I’ve ever met, but that’s not the point.

The amount of adaptability, patience, and drive to develop skills — let alone the work, time, effort, and consistency — that it required has been unexpected, to say the least.

And then consider the complexity, passions, goals, and dreams that a human being can encompass in a body after 25 years of youth plus 4 years with the frontal lobe finally fully developed (fingers crossed)…

Add up all that and — I’m not a mathematician but — I’m pretty sure the result is Multifaceted!

Before you say “or nuts…” — well, yeah, there’s that too— keep in mind that each phase came with its roles, challenges, new interests, and learning curves that I never imagined —let alone even considered I’d experience—.

It’s like it all made me a completely new person, a stranger to myself. Yet the person I knew. A new person, althought not the one from back then, but the one I’m now.

It would be a long story long if I wrote more, so you can read texts by my former self in the “Polyphonic” section, and go there whenever you feel like reading poetry, and short stories from the old section, Rooted. This section will be strictly used for things¹ worth sharing about life. And by things worth sharing I don’t mean my lifestory or trauma. This was just a disclaimer/welcome for those willing to read me — and splitting the tea for the nosy ones, no shame —.
